The second MAU seminar was hold Marseille 24 & 25 February 2015, few weeks after the inauguration of the new headquarter. Reserved to Federation Leaders, subjects were focused on Management.
Federations are the key actors of the development of Athletics in their country.
Whatever the chosen strategy to achieve their defined objectives, its success fully depends on the way to manage the projects and all involved stakeholders. This seminar will be the good opportunity for the Federation Leaders to listen some international keynote speakers, to exchange their different experiences and to share useful information for them.
Management main themes were:
- Strategic Management (Governance, National and International relations)
- General Management overview (Athletes, Coaches, Technical Officials, Staff, Volunteers)
- Operational Management (High Performance, Competitions, Communication, Marketing, Administration)
Speakers were top leaders of Mediterranean and worldwide athletics, and 23 Federations leaders attended.
